Default temperature sender adaptor size ....

So I went and got a temp gauge from stupid auto store but it doesnt have the correct adaptor does any one know what size it is and where I can find one .
I need it urgently .
It goes on the left side of the radiator and looks like this

The stock temp sending unit is on the thermostat housing, the one on the radiator is the thermostatic fan switch.

Thank you I will check if I have the right size adaptor for that .
I dont need a fan switch either .

The thread in the thermostat housing is 1/8 BSPT. A very hard size to find outside of Japan or Europe.
BSPT stands for British Standard Pipe Thread, and it is a metric tapered thread, but not compatible with NPT, wich is the inch version, and stands for National Pipe Thread.

why is this 9/16 wrench so HUUUUGE!?!?

good thing is people can still buy whitworth stuff, I have some old Japanese thread screws that some of my really old Japanese stuff uses and it's impossible to find screws for.

btw, the temp sensor that koso sends with their gauges screws right into the hawk thermostat housing.
